Since the announcement that Cathay was pulling out of Cairns a lot of
people have expressed their anger. Some years ago I did a write up on my
blog about the landing fees and Cairns at that time was at the top of
the list. This problem goes back to the middle to late 90's and still
exists today. So I have attached two articles one outlining the top ten
expensive airport to land at and it includes Darwin.
