Queensland MP'S payrise - DISGRACEFUL

The Queensland Independent Renumeration Tribunal which was setup in July 2013 by the Premier and has only 3 members  has given the Queensland Pollies a payrise.... WHAT FOR.
The last all residents heard was that Queensland had a debt of $80 billion and cuts were being made to reduce the debt but the Pollies still get a payrise, not $6 or $8 dollars a week but overall the Premier hauls in a 70,000 dollar payrise.
This is the breakdown:

The Premier Campbell Newman received a $70,000 payrise which is around 21.8% which will take his annual pay to $379,562.

The Deputy Premier Jeff Seeney will receive an extra $71,199 which will take his pay to $333,419.

The Labor opposition Leader Annastacia Palaszczuk received 34.7% rise around $80,000 taking her pay to $310,348.

Ministers' pay has risen by 27.2% has risen by $67,992 to $310,348.
These pay rises are back dated to July 1, 2013.
It is understood that the opposition leader wants the Premier to to over rule the decision but in saying that the opposition leader hasn't refused her pay rise.

Now we will probably have to sell off our assets to pay for this rise.
 What's next on the agenda?
