Michael Trout has been a naughty boy

His masters said he was a naughty boy and got sent to the bosses office.

Michael Trout continual push for Aquis was probably his downfall and the continual push had people asking "why is he pushing this project at such a rapid rate when the investigation haven't been completed".
At the time the Chamber of Commerce, Advance Cairns, the Mayor of Cairns and including Michael didn't appear to listen to peoples concerns, they seem only interested in one thing and that was Aquis.
Again I say it wasn't the governments fault of the probity not being completed  it was the Fung's who did not attend three "FORMAL" meetings nor did they complete the 12 of the 15 requirements instead they just left Cairns closing their office and closing down their Facebook site and proceeded to Canberra and the rest is history.
Why didn't the Fung's complete the probity? only they know my guess is that the investigation came across something that caused concerns, the probity investigation acted in a professional manner and weren't going to be bullied by anyone and it is hoped that this government will show the same when considering the licence.
One has to ask why should they be granted a licence, they have let the residents of Cairns down and now the majority don't want to even know or hear the word Aquis.
